On a distinctly positive note....
Having just returned from an abundance of safe travel mercies, and beautiful weather for hiking and biking....and driving a lot of winding roads, finding just the right places to stay, we are thankful that angels still are at work.
Act 12:11 And when Peter was come to himself, he said, Now I know of a surety, that the Lord hath sent his angel, and hath delivered me out of the hand of Herod, and from all the expectation of the people of the Jews.
Btw that old rat got his due later in the chapter.....
Act 12:23 And immediately the angel of the Lord smote him, because he gave not God the glory: and he was eaten of worms, and gave up the ghost.
And as Paul Harvey use to say...and the rest of the story is.....
Act 12:24 But the word of God grew and multiplied.
