I’m not going to enter into the prophetic realm, but it’s curious to think about what’s going on in the news these days.
There have been a number of interesting posts (see earlier blogs today below) in of all places the NYT. Including this one: Ross Douthat.
One might take the time to reread Matthew 24:1-51 or like passages.
Besides the commonly quoted parts about wars, rumors of war, earthquakes and famine, perhaps the preaching of the Gospel through out the world and the false Christs and miracles might be considered.
What greater way to preach the Gospel than to have the NYT, and the Internet distributing the message? And what greater miracle is there than that one has come back from the dead and tells us about heaven?
Again, this is curious stuff.
