I encourage you to read the book. I’m almost through and find a number of direct applications to the church today almost 100 years later.

 

Also since I’m currently on Jury Duty I found this interesting line this morning.

I’ve also note that when I read Tim Keller’s Kings Cross I need to look specifically if he covers Mark 13. I particularly find Mark 13:32-27 to speak a message today about watching and being awake. Paying attention to what is happening.

 

And finally in Romans 13:8-10, Paul who is frequently scoffed at or the subject of reinterpretation today for his harshness or directness gives another appeal to love which fits well with I Cor 13.
