Must needs be a brief mention from Paul on love...

We should remember Paul does have this side...and do not 1 Corinthians 13 also.

Paul hear echos Jesus teaching.

Mat 22:36    Master, which is the great commandment in the law?

Mat 22:37    Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

Mat 22:38    This is the first and great commandment.

Mat 22:39    And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

Mat 22:40    On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Which John also reiterates...

Joh 13:34  A new commandment I give unto you, That ye loveone another; as I have loved you, that ye also love oneanother.

Joh 15:12  This is my commandment, That ye love oneanother, as I have loved you.

1Jn 3:23  And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love oneanother, as he gave us commandment.

2Jn 1:5  And now I beseech thee, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment unto thee, but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another.

Peter has the same message..

1Pe 1:22  Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:

1Pe 2:17  Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king.

1Pe 3:8  Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous:

Romans 12

8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.

9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

11 And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.

12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.

13 Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.
