I'm working through a double reading this morning....trying to complete my 700th day of The 10 Lists Bible Reading program. I've been pursuing this now for 4 years, so I really, have not quite made an average of half my goal, But this is still 7,000 chapters in total or almost 6 times through the Bible  equivalent.

Hopefully some of this sticks with me.

As the last couple of posts have mentioned, there is much about sin which is being taught.

And just to reconfirm take a look at how that teaching flows though the readings today.

I'm reading both chapters sequentially and only up to Hebrews 10, but so far in 5 chapters, it's a consistent message.

Heb 10:26  For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

Heb 10:27  But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

Heb 10:31  It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

But there is hope!

Heb 10:38  Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

Heb 10:39  But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.
